Ubislate 7 is the upgraded version of the Aakash tablet. It is commercially launched by Datawind, London-based Company. It is powered by Cortex A8 – 700 Mhz processor with Graphics accelerator and HD Video processor. It is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and sports 7 inches Resistive Touch screen display. Ubislate 7 tablet can be used as a mobile phone by inserting your SIM card into the tablet. It comes with both Wi-fi and GPRS facility. It is loaded with powerful 3200 maH battery which can lasts for up to 5 hours. It holds 2GB internal storage which can be extended up to 32GB, thanks to the microSD card slot.
